I specialize in tube guitar amps and analog effects pedals. For over 20 years I have been providing amp repair services to southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and my pedal customers span from coast to coast across the US, and into Canada.
On this site, I will try to share with you some of the cool gear that comes through my workshop, and some of the custom products I make for my customers.
SERVICES
Handmade tube amplifiers
These are truly handmade, premium guitar amplifiers. Each amp starts with a blank piece of epoxy board. I create a layout for the circuit, drill the holes, and install brass eyelets. The board is populated with top-quality components, and soldered by hand. The chassis is measured, marked, and drilled. Then, all the parts are mounted, and hand-wired. Even the acrylic faceplates are routed right here in my little workshop in Carver, Massachusetts.
Meanwhile, in the next town over, my friend Marc is building the beautiful handmade cabinets. His craftsmanship can be witnessed in every “half blind dovetail” joint. Standard cabs are built from solid Pine, and covered with medium-weight black Tolex. Premium cabs are made from beautiful woods, each selected for its appearance, and hand-finished to a high gloss.

Let me make you something really special. Each of my custom-built pedals and amps is made one-at-a-time, by hand, with the most careful attention to detail. My goal is to exceed your expectations!
Analog guitar effects
I love effects pedals! (Especially old ones.) Get your favorite pedal back in road-worthy condition. I can repair or replace scratchy pots, loose jacks, and unreliable footswitches. Did it just quit working? I will diagnose it and give you an estimate. And, yes, I do modifications too.
